porter (12K)Gregory Porter is an Associate Program Officer working on the U.S. Department of State's International Visitors Leadership Program, where he develops programs for official visiting groups from around the world.

Greg served as a Peace Corps Volunteer from 2005-2007 in Donetsk, Ukraine. While there, he primarily taught English, American culture, and led extra-curricular activities for more than 100 Ukrainian students.

Prior to his service with the Peace Corps, Greg graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a dual degree in History and Russian Language and Civilization, and received a certificate from the Russian State Pedagogical University (Hertzen) in St. Petersburg, Russia. During his college career, he was a sports and news journalist.
